I can be reached:

- via email firstname.lastname@example.org, or via my Patient Portal at Luminello.com. These are secure, encrypted, and HIPAA compliant means of communication
- for general (non-clinical) and scheduling questions, you can contact me via text on the same number above or through Contact page on this website. I do not discuss clinical/personal/sensitive issues via texts
When you call me, I am usually with a patient and not available to answer the phone. Please leave a message. I usually return (non urgent) phone calls within 24 hours (with the exception of weekends, holidays, and vacations) – if you do not hear from me within that time, please leave another message.
If you are an established patient in crisis and feel that you cannot wait for me to return a phone call, please contact your primary care physician, crisis intervention center, or your nearest emergency room and ask for the psychologist or psychiatrist on call.
If I am going to be unavailable for an extended period of time (e.g., on vacation or at a conference), I will provide you with the name of a trusted colleague whom you can contact if necessary.
Contact time is limited to the scheduled sessions, with the exception of rare emergencies and brief communications regarding scheduling, billing, and other administrative issues. I charge my regular fee on a prorated basis for any phone call lasting over 10 minutes or email requiring a long response.
